How can you and your church be more involved?
Supportive Churches
We are so grateful for the different ways in which the body of Christ supports the ministry of SLM and its clients. We purposefully depend on the church and its members to sustain this work and consider it a privilege to have relationships with over 70 churches in this area. The involvement of our partnering churches includes financial support, Sanctity of Life Sunday commemoration, use of church facilities, volunteers, client outreach, benevolence, and prayer support.
Jesus tells us in Mathew 28:19 to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…" One of the ways in which we measure success is when a client begins building relationships with members in a local church who have reached out to her. We encourage our clients to attend a church where they can find loving fellowship, support, and where they are taught from God's Word how to love and follow Jesus Christ. Whether a client is a single mom, a part of an intact family with a newborn, or post-abortive, we encourage them to join a church family.
