  Outreach to Sexually Active Students and Single Adults
God entered our world as a Savior who died for our sins-His love continues to be shown through those He calls to share the hope of the gospel. Serving students and single adults at our new center, LifeChoices Resource Center, will be accomplished through offering free, confidential pregnancy tests and gospel centered counsel about STDs, and the risks of birth control and abortion. We will also give referrals for STD testing and programs on topics such as sexual integrity, healthy relationships and abstinence, alcohol and sex, and rape.

  Hispanic Outreach
The SLM Hispanic Outreach is a major part of our daily routine at SLM, comprising a significant number of our client load. Hardly a day goes by that we do not need to communicate with a client in Spanish. These women come to us with many needs and as a result we have been able to provide different kinds of resources as well as have many opportunities to share the gospel.

arrow  KISSN (Keep it Simple, Say No) Abstinence Programs
SLM holds workshops that will equip others to effectively present KISSN presentation material to teens in middle and high schools, as well as churches. KISSN is an interactive, fast-paced Virginia state-approved abstinence program, designed to encourage teens to postpone sexual involvement until marriage. It challenges young people to consider the culture and their own views on topics like building healthy relationships, sexually transmitted diseases, and secondary virginity and in Christian settings, the Lordship of Jesus in their life.

Have you had an abortion? Do you find yourself struggling to turn off the feelings connected to your abortion? Do you experience feelings of guilt or shame in regards to your abortion decision? Is your relationship with God affected by these feelings? Do you feel isolated or unable to talk about your abortion with anyone?

Since 1996 we have been involved with pregnancy centers in the country of Romania, which has one of the highest abortions rates in the world. During that time we have provided volunteer counselor training, funding for projects and staff, and different resources. We have been privileged to partner with organizations to translate and print pregnancy help center literature for use in Romania.

arrow  Extended Education Workshops
We offer topical workshops to pregnancy help center staff and volunteers, as well as to church ministries: relational evangelism, multi-cultural client care and evangelism, offering assistance to pregnancy help centers overseas, post-abortion leadership training, and abstinence 'train the trainer'.

Our trainers have many years experience with these topics, have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and are members of Bible-believing churches
