"The Echoes of Prophetic Voices: Navigating Truth in a World Full of Influences"

Prophetic voices have been present since the Old Testament, with God speaking through the prophets to deliver a message and make Himself known. In a recent article I read, the author emphasized that we still live with prophetic voices. We are constantly listening to a "voice." That voice can be the true voice of God, conveyed through His Word.

Demolishing every thought that contradicts the knowledge of God is crucial for discernment. Men and women who come through our doors often hear a voice leading them to believe that abortion is their only choice. For some, it is a sense of failure. "I am bad." "I will never be a good mother." This sense of moral failure is addressed in the Bible with profound clarity. Through the love of God in Christ, we can acknowledge real failures and find true mercy. We are loved despite our failures.

Some women see themselves as outcasts; abandoned and expelled from family, friendships, and relationships. When our minds turn to Jesus, who was once the true outcast, we hear Him call us His “Beloved.” He welcomes us. We are His.

Carrying a pregnancy exposes a choice that some wish they could undo – a one-night stand, an unfaithful partner or spouse. A pregnancy can lay bare all of these to the world, making one vulnerable to shame and ridicule. But God intervenes to cover us. He makes us safe. I appreciate that God, being fully man, entered all these conditions while remaining fully God to lead us out.

Here at SLM, we comprehend the assaults of the other "prophetic voices" because we all battle them. But we know the True Voice! Consider joining us at the upcoming Orientations where you can learn how to guide women and men to the True Voice. Together, we can make disciples! Serve — Sanctity of Life Ministries here
